Our Story

Lynn and LaRita, co-collaborators and creators of CAMP COMMUNICATE, have known each other for many years. Lynn, owner of Speak Life Speech Therapy, and LaRita, owner of Condon Communication Specialist, share not only a deep love for speech-language pathology, but also a passion for missions and serving others. Rooted in their shared faith and love for Jesus, they are committed to serving families with excellence, offering affordable services, and building meaningful community connections.

By combining their strengths—experience with diverse populations, expertise in motor learning principles, and strong organizational leadership—along with Lynn’s background in accounting and LaRita’s creativity in theme-based intervention, CAMP COMMUNICATE was born. What began as a shared vision has grown into a powerful annual event designed to bring hope, respite, encouragement, and joy to individuals and their families.

Our Growth

Now entering our 6th year, CAMP COMMUNICATE has expanded in both reach and impact. What started as a small but passionate initiative has grown into a vibrant, multidisciplinary experience.

We are proud to collaborate with a growing team of dedicated professionals, including Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), Physical Therapists (PTs), and other specialists who share our heart for serving families. Their expertise strengthens our programming, enhances therapeutic outcomes, and allows us to better support children with a wide range of needs.

Each year, we continue to grow—expanding our skills, deepening partnerships with local agencies, and creating more opportunities for connection and community.
